This April was meant to be a big fundraising month for Revive! and a number of our team had committed themselves to activities to raise money for a charity close to our hearts. However, due to the prevalence of COVID-19, we have had to suspend our activities until later in the year.
Over the years, Revive! have raised thousands of pounds for the Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA) following Kevin Gartland, the brother of our Managing Director Terry Mullen, being diagnosed with this horrible disease.
This April our team began working with Kevin’s old rugby club, Ellenborough Rangers, in raising funds for KEBSI 13 to raise money to help Kevin directly.
The charity has gained a following on social media using the hashtag #thumbsupforkebsi13 so the team at Revive! instead helped raise awareness of this during April by posting pictures every day on Twitter.
We were also joined by families and friends of the Revive! team who work in the emergency services, who are doing such a phenomenal job during this on-going pandemic.
Not only that, our Managing Director Mark Llewellyn teamed up with our Senior Customer Service representative Renata Townsend ran at least 5k every day in April to help raise awareness of the KEBSI 13 charity.
What an outstanding achievement!
