Adam Holmes was made redundant from his successful managerial role in British Gas and made the decision to leave the corporate world behind him. Eager to be in control of his own destiny he made the decision to join Revive! East Anglia. The East Anglia territory had already been in business for over four years at the time and was very successful, however owner Nathan felt they had stagnated, so made the decision to bring on both Adam and Andy Blackhurst to help boost the growth of Revive! East Anglia
And that’s exactly what they did! Now sporting an impressive fleet of three alloy wheel repair vans, eight bodywork vans, along with a two-booth unit manned by five technicians and a further three techs upstairs pumping out 101 refurbished alloys per week. Revive! East Anglia is going from strength to strength, smashing through the £1 million mark and on track for £2 million this year.
Revive! Northampton
Iain Wallis was unemployed at the time and discovered Revive! on a chance meeting with managing director Mark Llewellyn at their Rugby Club. Mark offered him the opportunity to train as a SMART repair technician at the Revive! training academy in Rugby. Iain was ‘a natural’ and quickly rose through the ranks at the academy to become training manager.
He joined Revive! Northampton as a technician and then business partner, taking sole ownership of the franchise in 2016 after buying out the previous owner. Now he has 10 employees and finds the biggest rewards are seeing the growth of his employees both personally and professionally, getting married and buying houses, building their futures.
Revive! Surrey
Following a very successful 12-year career in the army as both a Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineer and part of the Royal Army Physical Training Corps, Jay Belam decided to go in a different direction. Looking for a new challenge Jay explored the franchising opportunities on offer and discovered Revive!.
Initially starting as Revive! Guildford in 2010 Jay slowly built up his business and his territory to the point where he now leads 20 employees, 10 vans and a workshop, with 17 technicians. He set up the first Revive! dedicated alloy wheel repair centre and the first to be opened in Surrey. Having cornered the trade market in Surrey, he’s building up his retail share, growing retail sales quickly.
Revive! Trafford
Dan and Nat Normanton initially made the jump to open Revive! Trafford following Dan’s success as a technician in a neighbouring territory. They wanted to grow their business as a way to establish a stable financial future for their family.
Revive! Trafford acknowledge that they have had great support from the Revive! head office team along the way to help them grow and achieve their goals. Natalie commented: “We were too busy running the business to fully engage with head office, but when we realised that we had to prioritise that and started to make more of an effort and listening to what they were telling us, it made a massive improvement to our growth. They’ve pushed us to work towards better business planning and supported us when doing that. They’ve definitely been integral to the growth of our business.”
