Owner of Revive! Great Yarmouth & Lowestoft, Liz Pither, has only lived in the Norfolk area for the past 6 years, however this didn’t deter her when the opportunity to open the business came around. Liz dug in and did a lot of research into her territory and local area before starting the business.
Liz’s career prior to Revive! had largely been focused on the corporate business and financial services sectors. But she is now excited to be venturing out on her own as a business owner alongside her son who will be taking on administration duties at Revive! Great Yarmouth & Lowestoft. She sees the business as a way to engage her 80s/90s car enthusiasm and grow a sustainable outlet at the same time.
She initially found Revive! when exploring what franchising opportunities were available and seeing one that was closely tied to her passion for cars made a lot of sense. Having previously used Revive!’s services on her own car she was well aware of the high-quality reputation of the repairs and the business as a whole. On follow-up searches of automotive franchises Liz was pleased to see Revive! sitting at the top of the list.

Coming from a corporate background in the financial world Liz was certain that the various skills she had learnt in her career would do her well when running her own business. She was very familiar with how to organise a business, along with the people management that she would require to handle her technicians on a day-to-day basis. Liz is confident she knows how to get the best out of people because she knows what good service delivery looks like and is certain she can help her employees provide the best service to their customers, maintaining their motivation in the process.

Liz was conscious that having to build her own business when she hadn’t done it before would bring quite a steep learning curve. This is why she opted for franchising which gave her the opportunity to start the business with the backing and support of a recognised reputable brand. Revive!’s training regime was thankfully very comprehensive and well supported covering all areas of her new business that she would have to take on, this includes marketing, recruitment, technician support, general customer service and prospecting new clients.

Liz is excited to get going with her new franchise and is raring to get out on the road and see her technicians out in the field. She wants to grow her team, introducing team leaders and even get a unit at some point in the future. For Liz the opportunities are endless.
