Revive!’s latest addition to the Network in the Kings Lynn territory is no stranger to the franchising sector. Jake Neadley has been working in a well-known hospitality franchise for the past 15 years and has taken on significant amount of experience and professional training throughout his time there. Working in a fast-paced environment with a number of different teams, he always had an inkling that he wanted to do more and start his own business.
The major trigger point for Jake was when his own car was damaged and he struggled to find a repairer in his local area evidencing a clear gap in the market. Upon researching the industry further, he came across Revive! through social media and the company appeared to present an exciting opportunity. After doing some more research and discussing Revive! among his internal network and people who were familiar with or had worked with Revive! in the past he made a decision to start Revive! Kings Lynn.
One of the key things that attracted Jake to Revive! was the alignment of their core values, Jake’s methodology of how to build a business and grow a team directly corelated with Revive!’s ideas of Integrity, Unity, Technical Excellence and Outstanding Customer Service. Having been a part of another successful franchise, he was fully aware of the advantages being a part of a network can bring you as opposed to being a sole trader, Jake really appreciates the training and support structure provided by Revive! and the impressive levels of resources offered by being part of a franchise network.
Jake admits he was initially nervous about entering an industry he had limited experience in but following a visit to the Rugby Head Office he was reassured, the enthusiasm from each of the departments and the knowledge they provided really gave him the confidence that he could succeed with the help of all these people rooting him on. Having a young family, he understands that starting a new business will have its challenges but he is excited to go from a position that was very intensive 24/7, to a role that would give him back his weekend and offer him the chance to spend more time with his family.
Jake encourages prospective franchisees to really do their research and look into the business, its history, and the overall industry as a whole. This can make you aware of any potential challenges that may be presented to you and help you establish yourself within your local area as a leader in the sector. As for the future of the business Jake is hoping that in five years, Revive! Kings Lynn with have multiple vans and technicians out on the road, along with opening an established unit to run his business from. He also wants to build a network of businesses within the local area that work together and support each other’s operations aiding the local economy and community.
