Clayfell Harris boasts an impressive CV, from playing basketball all across the USA and Europe to then building up his experience working in logistics and operations over nine years. But he had always wanted to open up his own business though, to be able to call something his own. It was for this reason that Clayfell completed his master’s degree in business administration.
Clayfell first heard about Revive! from his business partner, who had recently applied with the company but found he wouldn’t have the time necessary to dedicate to starting a franchise. Since discussing the opportunity, Clayfell concluded that he did have the time and wanted to explore the possibilities of opening his own Revive! franchise.
While his business partner had performed a lot of research into Revive! through the BFA but Clayfell performed his own research into the company including getting in touch with a number of current franchisees. Through his investigation he found that Revive!’s support in establishing franchisees is second to none and this was one of the key reasons behind his decision to join Revive!
While Clayfell does have an overall interest in cars, it is not necessarily on the technical level, so when going through his Revive! training he found it particularly informative when getting hands on with the practical side. As part of his training package Clayfell received access to the Revive! Sharepoint allowing him to access training materials anywhere and refer back to them when necessary. The management and leadership training were particular highlights for Clayfell as it’s something he has a lot of experience in and learning how he can apply it to his new business was great.
In five years time he and his business partner would like to open their own Revive! Barnsley unit, chatted with another franchisee who has, to learn how they can get to that point and believes it is something they can actively work towards.
As a business owner he is looking forward to utilizing the time he has as he sees fit, not necessarily having to clock in at a certain time or finish at a certain time, just being able to set his own working day.
