A number of Revive! franchisee’s and staff were invited to play in the very first charity Golf Day for the Humanimal Trust in September and helped to raise an amazing £8,000 for the charity. This exciting day took place at the stunning Old Thorns Hotel in Hampshire and featured a Top 100, 18-Hole Championship golf course.
13 teams took to the fairways throughout the day including Team Revive! which consisted of Jay Belam from Revive! Surrey, Anthony Wilcock from Revive! Sussex Coast, Steve Thatcher from Revive! Portsmouth and Franchise Growth Director Ricky Taylor.
While Team Revive! unfortunately didn’t come out on top they still enjoyed the day and raised significant funds for the Humanimal Trust, who drive collaboration between vets, doctors and researchers so that all humans and animals benefit from sustainable medical progress, but not at the expense of an animal’s life.
On the day everyone raised over £8,000 to support their mission to drive collaboration between human and veterinary medicine.
The Trust’s Fundraising and Partnerships Manager, Sarah Colbourne, said: “We were delighted to welcome thirteen teams to our inaugural Humanimal Trust Golf Day. Everyone had a great day of golf in support of One Medicine, and we are extremely grateful to every single player, sponsor and supporter who made this event possible. Thanks to you, we raised vital funds and awareness to help drive collaboration between human and veterinary medicine. We look forward to welcoming you all back next year!”
Plans are already underway for next year’s Humanimal Trust Golf Day, with the date to be confirmed soon.
